Loving this month #1

Being naturally pale, I don't cope amazingly with boiling heat so I am really enjoying this 'end of the summer' warmth. Don't get me wrong, I do like hot weather...when I am on holiday and can enjoy it from the comfort of a pool that is. I love being able to go out without a jacket but without feeling sweaty and horrible. It's great for socialising too, it's the perfect weather for BBQs and picnics with family and friends, and also greatly broadens what you can do with your time.

I have recently started a new job in London so I spend most of my day Monday-Friday in an office, but I no longer have to work any weekends, having worked in retail for the last 3 years, this is a novelty for me. I can finally make plans in advance without having to book the dates off as holiday.

I've spent the last two weekends with family and Jake, playing mini golf, having BBQs and generally relaxing. Today I went out for my Nan's birthday, indulged in cream tea and wandered around some gardens with various animals in.

Lots of exciting things coming up over the next few weeks too, after I finish work on Friday I am heading down to Eastbourne with Jake for a night of drinks, games and camping with some friends before driving back on Saturday to get ready to fly to France for a week with the family. Then, at the end of the month, me, my sister and my mum are heading to a secret location in London for an evening of entertainment with 'The Future Cinema' re-living dirty dancing.

Week in pictures

Hey guys :)


Sorry I haven't blogged in a week or so, my laptop broke! :(. I am currently using my mum's when I can whilst I save up for a replacement.


Me and the boyfriend took a week off work to enjoy some activities in England seen as neither of us are going on holiday this year *sigh*.
I thought I'd do a 'pictures of the week' post just to catch you guys up on what I've been doing! I know not everyone enjoys these posts, but I find pictures more interesting than words (probably because i'm a nosey person) and I'd rather see lots of pictures on my blog and I hope it's not too dull for you all!

1. Now that he can't help himself to food, Button's has allocated the Pantry

as his new napping spot! 2. The Chicken's went crazy over this bit of corn.

3. Button's tried to escape me :( but then couldn't find a way down so came 

back ha! 4. Mini golf! I WON! (I'm very proud of myself).

It was nice to see a bit of sun, such perfect timing too! We also took my little brother swimming yesterday, and we plan to go to the zoo too, yay!
