Holiday haul...Shoes

Friday, 30 May 2014

Hey hey! Yup, they are all from Asos, thanks to their up to 60% off flash sale a couple of weeks ago. AND they are still all in stock and also in the sale, go grab a bargain.

Numero uno are from London Rebel via Asos, they are simple and comfy. I have one other pair of black sandals from the Topshop sale last summer, I adore them but they are quite showy (is that the word?) so I wanted some plain ones.

Numero dos are Ravel via Asos. They are very similar to some that I found in Warehouse last month but in the flash sale they were like £26 or something crazy like that. SO I BOUGHT THEM. Don't judge me

Numero tres are my FAVES. They are Carvela Kurt Geiger and they were only £28!! I love how plain they are, and I can't wait to wear them all the time. I mean alllll the timeeee.

Okay, so I don't actually really like espadrilles but I wanted a pair of comfy shoes for mine and Jakes holiday next weekend and pumps make my feet gross and sweaty if it's too hot. TMI I know. They won't stay very white for long, but hey they were only £10.

In case you didn't know (or didn't read the line above) me and Jake are off to sunny Lanzarote on Saturday. Wahoo. So yeah, that's why they're all summer shoes :)

My chocolate workshop

Friday, 16 May 2014

Sunday 11th May was a particularly special day because my sister and I finally got to cash in our Christmas experience day from mumma. I admit, I didn't feel to confident about it on the way up, it wasn't in the nicest of places in Central London. However, they have certainly made their workshop space very welcoming, full of cute jars and stands and the strong smell of chocolate definitely helped to ease the nerves.
The night was full of activities and festivities; bubbles, crazy strong chocolate martini's, flavouring chocolate, making and dipping fudge and truffles and tasting chocolate from around the world.
3 hours of pure indulgence and fun. It helps that we had a very amusing Canadian instructor too. Being the biggest chocoholic I know, I have to tell you how much fun it was, and even better was that we got to bring a bag of goodies home to share (or eat ourselves, *stuffs face*) and I definitely recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth.

April catch up

Tuesday, 13 May 2014

I found the cutest little cafe near work. ...and they do delicious cakes. Dinner drinks with my bestie. Plus burgers. Plus pudding. Buttons loves sunbathing, inside. I took My mummy's bear hostage. This may be my favourite photo with Jake <3. Pub lunches are the best.
Dough balls are my fave starter. Calzone is pretty good too. And also pasta bake. Then some pudding, whoops. Afternoon snacks with the animals. Awkward sun in our eyes selfie. Easter Sunday is definitely a day for pancakes. And lots of chocolate of course. The hugest lunch.
McBusted selfie. They're singing on a UFO, what could be better. Late night time for bed selfie. Breakfasts at work can be fun. But then lunch was healthy :(. I love them millions. She's the soppiest monster. He wasn't interested in snuggling. Baking weekends.
Hey all, sorry this post is a little late. April has actually been quite busy so hopefully these photos are slightly more interesting than last months! Of course there's still a lot of food involved. I feel as though I might not be getting that Prada bag anytime soon.
